Hands this size can make you a coat

 For all your cold shoulders

And a scarf for the lump in your throat

Animal body and human heart

Carded and spun to some new line

Longer than the distance of new seasons

And continents, cast on and off, in time

I love you is the sound of needles meeting, 

Tap, slide, spin, move, and meet again.
